We are pleased that you have taken the time to visit the Jankidevi Public School website. Our hope is that you find our website to be user-friendly, and after your visit, you will have a good idea of all we have to offer. As you read through the pages of this site, you will learn about our wonderful students, and get a feel for the vibrancy and strength of our wider School community. Jankidevi Public School is a wonderful place for students from diverse backgrounds to grow educationally, get involved, and have a meaningful high school experience. Our vision of education extends far beyond the classroom. We encourage our students to involve themselves in the broad co-curricular program. Learning here takes place in many shapes and forms. Students have the opportunity to participate fully on the sporting field, on the stage, in leadership activities and on the Debating platform. Our faculty and staff play a vital role in the holistic development of each student entrusted to our care. We believe that we will challenge their abilities to perform and succeed academically. We will instill a love for learning, discovery and exploration. The diversity of our programs will give them the opportunity to develop their talents and skills through the arts, community and athletic venues. Additionally, we have structured our management team so that every year level has a Section Head and Coordinator to case manage every individual student and assist them in their journey throughout their senior secondary schooling life and beyond. Thank you for visiting Jankidevi Public School online!

Mentor's Message

sample image Each one of us has a unique mission in life that only we can fulfil. A clear sense of purpose gives rise to courage and wisdom, which helps us to see things in their true perspective. Discovering this purpose or mission is a lifelong task. Nothing is more crucially important today, than the kind of humanistic education that enables people to realise their mission in life, i.e. to appreciate the infinite potential in each person’s life, and to cultivate that dormant human potential to the fullest. At Jankidevi Public School, it is our constant endeavour to empower our children by providing the right environment, right training and the opportunities to recognise their inherent talents and unique abilities. When we treat children with respect, they in turn learn how to respect other human beings. Praising children is not pampering them. In a stress-filled society, words that warm the heart are more significant than ever. They sustain and strengthen, inspiring them to strive toward personal growth. “It is not how you compare to others that is important, but rather how you compare to who you were yesterday. If you’ve advanced even one step, then you’ve achieved something great.” We can realise our purpose in life by doing our very best where we are and by asking ourselves, “What should I do?” and “What can I do?” One who stands up with moral courage and conviction can change society and create waves of transformation around the world. Only when we learn to channel the energy we direct toward winning over others into winning over ourselves can we begin to develop our humanity.

“Education is not simply the transmission of knowledge. It is not simply the development of talent. Education is the great enterprise of steadily and surely passing on the fullness of humanity from the past to the future.”- Daisaku Ikeda
