Jankidevi Public School started the Cambridge curriculum for classes VIII, IX and X since June, 2007. From the academic year 2012 the school started offering this curriculum from K.G – I to class X.
CAMBRIDGE PRE – PRIMARY
An integrated multidisciplinary curriculum comprising of Language skills, Mathematical concepts, Scientific exploration, Motor activities and Creative Arts has been designed starting from the formative years, K.G – I and K.G – II by curriculum developers and teachers with comprehensive training in pedagogical methods. CAMBRIDGE PRIMARY
The Cambridge Primary (class I – VII) develops learners skills and understanding through the primary years in English, Hindi ( as a second language), Mathematics, Science, Social Science and ICT (Information and communication technology).It is a culturally sensitive programme with a positive and supportive learning environment, top quality teaching techniques and resource materials. This program enables the students to attain full potential and progress through learning objectives relevant for students across the world.
CAMBRIDGE CHECKPOINT (CLASS VIII)
The Cambridge Checkpoint builds skills, knowledge and understanding in English, Hindi / French (as a second language) Mathematics, Science and ICT (Information and communication technology). This curriculum emphasies on developing habits of logical inquiry and individual research and encourages a problem solving approach. The assessment process goes beyond the recall of knowledge, emphasizing on skills like student’s ability to implement knowledge appropriately, use information to solve problems and acquire experimental investigative skills.

IGCSE (CLASS IX – X)
Cambridge Secondary 2 develops skills in enquiry, creative thinking and problem solving, giving learners excellent preparation for the next stage of education. Cambridge IGCSE is the world’s most popular international qualification. It takes a student – centred approach and develops learners who are confident, innovative, responsible and reflective. The development of skills of application, analysis, evaluation and creation become important in encouraging students who are able to take learning process beyond the confines of the classroom. The IGCSE approach is rooted in active learning and its assessment models have been designed to reflect this orientation. They include not only terminal examinations but also the assessment of field work, practical investigations in the laboratory, oral and listening skills in foreign and second languages and project or course work completed during the study period. Cambridge IGCSE develops a solid foundation of knowledge and skills and provides excellent preparation for higher education including Cambridge International AS (Advanced Subsidiary) Level and A (Advanced) level. It is recognised by Universities around the world, offering learners a global passport to success.

Note :
- ✓ Students may Select any five of the given subjects including English to qualify IGCSE Examination.
- ✓ In order to get an International Certificate of Education (ICE) qualifications, which is the cambridge Certificate in Education, (not compulsary), the requirement is two different language and one more subject from each of the other groups. The seventh subjects can be from any group.
- ✓ Marathi subject is taught compulsorily in all classes as per the rule of the State Education Department.
- ✓ Activities offered – Swimming, Library, Physical, Training, Gym, and Language Development.
- ✓ Indoor Games – Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Football.
- ✓ Students are taken for Educational field visits and Excursions.
- ✓ Students are offered career counselling for the academic stream / subject options after Checkpoint class.
- ✓ Inter school, Intra school competitions and competitive tests at National and International level are conducted.
- ✓ Continuous assessment on the guidelines of CAIE
- ✓ The Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories have excellent equipments and specimens giving the students complete access to a total hands-on practical education.
- ✓ The Multimedia equipped Computer laboratories with internet access facilities are designed to keep pace with the modern technology. Computer project work creates interest among students towards self-learning.
